On the
eve of New Year and Christmas Charity Fund «Карітас-Caritas» of Mukachevo Greek Catholic
diocese distributed 100 packages with food and cleaners for single elderly people and people
that asked Caritas for assistance. Distribution was 24 and December 25, by
worker of project of «Home care». The packages were purchased with financial
assistance Caritas Illmitz (Austria)
and assistance of Paul Rommer.
6 December, 2008 rest in peace on the 88-year earthly life,
31-year episcopal service, 62-year priesthood His Excellency Ivan Semediy Kir,
Bishop Emeritus of Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese.
Charitable Fund «Caritas-Caritas» Mukachevskoy Greek Catholic Diocese of
congratulates with 90 years anniversary Kalmykovu Katerynu Ivanivnu, which is
the beneficiary of the project «Home care».
We wish to Katerina Ivanivna good health,
long years of life and get joy from life.

representative of Caritas Austria Michael Kleinbihler visited CF
Карітас-Caritas MGCD of the 4-day visit devoted to the
finishing of the project "Enhancing capacities in the field of
protection and support refugees and asylum seekers in Transcarpathia
/ Ukraine." Michael Kleinbihler met with all members of the CF
Карітас-Caritas MGCD who worked on this project. There were
results of the project in 2007 and 2008 and discussed future projects
CF Карітас-Caritas MGCD in the field of migration.
