Meeting with journalists from Germany |
|
|
|
|
On Tuesday 18th of November 2008 there
was a meeting representatives of CF Caritas MGCD with journalists
from Germany that film in Ukraine documentary film about Chechen
refugees on Ukraine. The main issue of discussion was detention
asylum seekers from Chechnya in detention centers on Zakarpattya and
their future destiny.

Working meeting with NGO Neeka |

Representative of NGO Neeka visit CF Caritas MGCD with working visit. NGO Neeka is a partner of CF Caritas MGCD for long period of time. Directod of CF Caritas MGCD M. Martinyuk, Cooridnator of MBU E. Melesh and Program Coordinator of UNHCR on Zakarpattya N. Zamuraeva were present on this meeting. Issues of day-to-day work between 2 organizations and plannig for 2009 were discussed. |

Visit of delegation from Ilmic |

On 15-16
November of 2008 representatives of Caritas Ilmic came with official
visit to CF Caritas MGCD. During this visit issued about future
cooperation between 2 organizations were discussed. And also issues
about possibilities of taking part in common project connected with
social help for people in Zakarpattya
region were discussed.
|
After Soviet Union break-up and legalisation of Greek-Catholic Church different forms of Christian charity began their implementation and first Caritas organizations appeared. Their first activity was distribution of humanitarian aid sent from abroad. Concrete directions of social work were out during accumulation of experience of charitable activity; deeper understanding of population needs and study of possibilities for additional funding. |
