On Wednesday 09^th September 2009, held a "Great" Visit of representatives of international organizations (IOM, Doctors without borders, UNHCR) to Chop border troop. The purpose of the visit was to review the current migration situation in the temporary detention facilities of Chop border troop. Together with the guests representatives of the Administration and the Western Regional Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine came.

Border guards showed guests facilities where migrants are detained and told about plans for reconstruction one of this facility. Reconstruction plan includes reconstruction and expansion of the facility to bring this building into compliance with sanitation and other standards. And also to maka for migrants detained there better living conditions.

Representatives of Charity Foundation "Карітас-Caritas" Mukachevo Greek Catholic Diocese, were also in the delegation. They presented their work with migrants in Chop border troop within frameworks of the project GUMIRA. The lawyers, social worker and doctor also presented their work. Project coordinator Lostyk O. told the guests about plans for future work with detained migrants by the end of 2009, as well as current issues Chop border troop.

At last, the meeting was held on the problems that currently exist in Chop border troop on the detention of illegal migrants.

Among the problems were highlighted in particular the following:

1. Reconstruction of special facility.

2. Ensuring uninterrupted supply of water to migrants.

3. Procurement and construction disinfection chamber in Chop border troop.

All participants agreed on its position on the matter and agreed to help with finance and human resources to address these problems.
